Out of the 32 original contenders in CBC B.C.’s month-long bracket, our 66-year-old sanctuary of hand-crafted folk art, old-growth giants, and B.C.’s tallest treehouse has officially earned its place in the Final Four provincial semifinals!
The clash between the fresh, sunny produce stops of Highway 3 and our whimsical storybook woods of Highway 1 came down to the wire. As featured in CBC’s Interior Final coverage, both finalists represent the very best of B.C.’s historic mom-and-pop tourism roots.
Thanks to your passionate voting, nostalgia, and love for our 350+ folk art figurines, The Enchanted Forest came out on top!

It’s a battle of two true B.C. legends—living 1860s gold rush history versus the timeless magic of Doris and Ernest Needham’s 1960 storybook forest! A win next week punch our ticket directly to the Grand Championship Final before Labour Day!
