Super day in the rain, then it stopped.
I visited this place often as a young boy. I think my parents used it as a stop for us kids to burn off some energy.
We stopped today to share some memories but discovered a amazing 2Km Nature walk complete with hills, boardwalk and even the salmon were running.
A lot of the displays referenced to fables and stories that I have not encountered before so it also gave me some inclination to brush up on children's literature.
The Forest is well maintained, there is a picnic area for people to bring their own food and restrooms are available and clean.
