Working in the Gift Shop and Admissions at The Enchanted Forest is fast paced, social, and rewarding. During the busy spring and summer season, guests are constantly arriving, making each shift feel dynamic and go by quickly.
As one of the first points of contact, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working independently, and interacting with people of all ages.
- Has strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Is organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Is comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Has previous point of sale or cash handling experience (an asset, not required)
Responsible for cleaning facilities, keeping grounds tidy, and directing parking for guests during peak periods
- Applicant must be motivated and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable operating grounds equipment: lawn mowers, tractor, etc
- Great communication skills when directing traffic, providing good customer service and communication on radio
- Attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks are essential to success in the position
